I'm having problems using my JaMP3 player with my iMac. The batteries in the player went dead, and since I replaced the batteries, I've been unable to get it to play any music. When I tried connecting it to my computer, the computer had problems recognizing it, and when I attempted to fix it, I somehow managed to cause further problems with the player. Now it cannot even turn on. It displays random garbage on the screen whenever it has batteries inserted, and it doesn't respond to any button presses. The computer no longer recognizes it at all. I think that, at some point in the process, it may have accidentally been erased with the "Erase Disk" command.

KB Gear doesn't answer my e-mails, and their (long distance) phone number has been disconnected. I have heard of many people who have been unable to reach them.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the player? Is anyone else having these sorts of problems with KB Gear? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
