I didn't address this over in Stan's Lounge, because I didn't want the thread moved to here.
It seems to me that supporting and maybe eventually voting for a Palin bid for the presidency is voting for a very shortsighted and narrow minded agenda, to put it mildly. The woman and her beliefs are dangerous (even more than W's) to the Constitution, the US, and the world. Over 200 years of history has absolutely no meaning to her.
PS: She is not the victim that she wants us to believe that she is. Want some cheese with that whine?
I am afraid that man's opinions are not the norm in my area of hillbilly central. You can throw a rock in any direction and hit a redneck, a Republican, a Bible College or a redneck Republican coming or going from a Bible College. More WASPs per square mile than just about anywhere in the country. My supervisor voted for the first time in his life because he did not want a "[censored]" in the White House. I am afraid that we have not progressed as much as we would like to believe.
Common sense and deodorant are a lot alike. People who need it the most don't use it.
