looking for a core2 duo mini or iMac. I have a really nice IBM ThinkVision 20" LCD display (HDMI/VGA) that can go with it. I bought the Cube new in....oh man, 2001? (I think). It is a 450Mhz model, and it has the airport 802.11b card installed. It has had *VERY LITTLE* use. it has been sitting in its original box for most of its life.

Anyone interested in a trade? I am in the Silicon Valley area.

Even if it were dead, it would make a terrific art piece.

What I **REALLY** love about The Cube: the mechanism and method for opening it up and working on it... It is just simply the most well designed box for opening that has ever existed. Having been a grease-monkey/gear-head since the early 80s, I am thoroughly disgusted with non-maintenance-based packaging. The cube is the antithesis to cut knuckles and sore fingers!

I am surprised no one has hacked up a mini or two and dropped them into the Cube chassis.

I would keep it if someone were to have made up a mini-hack or otherwise a core2 duo/quad upgrade for it.
