Is it possible at all? It will pair via bt without problem with my Mac, but the Mac cannot browse the phone (LG CF360). However, I sent a file to the phone via bt without problem. I suspect that it has something to do with the phone's file structure. Also, would getting a USB cable and connecting it via that work to transfer files (photos, contacts, movies) to my MacMini?
You may just be lacking the appropriate isync plugin. On the other hand, some phones (certain Nokia models, for example) simply lack the firmware that correctly supports that kind of file transfer.
But check out the isync driver situation for your model first. A quick google on my part suggests LG phones simply don't have good isync support. See what you can find.

I've browsed several sync utilities and plugins, but none seem to support this particular LG (and very few at that). At least, I can email pictures to myself. My daughter has the same model of phone and she has some short movies that she cannot get off the phone - keeps stating that they are too large for MMS.
I've got to use something called FoneLink to sink my RAZR v3XX's Calendar. It pissed me off because the page I linked to above says it will work but when I hook up to iSync it says Calendars not supported.

According to those discussions, Apple is placing the blame on LG's file system and syncing protocols. My Sony-Ericsson (the one with the failing battery) worked flawlessly via BT. In fact, my daughter's LG wouldn't even "talk" to the Sony-Ericsson set.
Maybe there are winxx drivers? In which case you could sync in Bootcamp or something? But it may just be the phone itself. I was trying to help a friend get set up on his pc and his Nokia phone's firmware simply didn't support syncing. Confirmed by 2 separate companies that provide drivers - they both said if the phone company updated its firmware they'd be all over it. So I suggest hassling LG, in any case - the more customer pressure, the more likely they are to pull their finger out.
