Hey, I just got Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit from my school (10 bucks ! ) and I want to set up bootcamp for gaming and that new math program that comes with Windows 7.
and I think it would be pretty badass to have Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on the same machine.
I bought my Macbook Pro on ebay so I don't have the install discs that came with it (the guy is finding them and will mail them to me when he does) which means I don't have the windows drivers.
So how do I do this? can I download the drivers from apple?

Oh please, the Radeon HD 3850 256MB in my desktop is _ooolld_ and not even high end in it's day but it still whomps 9600M GT by half and a little bit. My 3850 is about on par more or less with the 4670(PC version).. but Apple might be using an underclocked 4670 in the iMac for all we know.
personally I still play marathon because most new games are boring lol
Nowadays I find Marathon boring unless playing coop. But it makes most people I know sick so there is only a couple people I know who are willing to play it. On a side note the netcode for AlephOne is terrible. I am quite fond of the coop modes in Ghost Recon orig&advanced warfighter 1/2 as well as Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Nothing wrong with the Radeon 5800 series. They are quite badass and give nvidia's offerings quite a pounding for less $$$. AMD also has a good price to performance ratio for low-mid range rigs. Few people actually have a real use for i7, and even then i5 is out.
Right now the cards out are so powerful that you do not actually need Crossfire or SLI.. Unless you think you need a bigger epeen.. ATI's Eyefinity is also a good epeen boost but it it does actually help gaming. :P
I'm still having isssues with the license key. it keeeps saying that the product key is invalid, I even tried my frined's key (it is valid) and it still did not work so I believe it is an issue with the fact that I have a Unibody late 2008 macbook pro.
do any of you guys know anything about installing windows 7 on a macbook pro?
