Honestly, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to. I checked iFixit, and didn't see anything on the initial run of them even selling the 17" screens... though they've changed their site a lot. Although I haven't had the guts to open one of the unibodies myself, your best bet is to break it open and see what kind of plug it has. Also you might get lucky and the tech crew at a mac store might tell you.
