well august is approaching fast and I'll be back at WPI to continue persuing my education as a Robotic and Biomedical Engineer (double majoring).
over the summer I was unable to find job so I have pretty much no cash and I have been selling off guitar stuff for book money.
I am in need of a laptop badly, my ibook G4 1.33GHz isn't gonna work for me, It gave me trouble in CS cause it couldn't run eclipse
so I'm looking to get a grant to buy a Laptop for skool. I'm looking to get a 17 inch macbook pro because I need a huge amount of GPU power for solidworks and CNC work that I'll be doing in my ME course first term
so does anyone here know anything about laptop grants? I am having trouble figuring out these things if worst comes to worsts I can take out a loan for the laptop but I much rather find a grant.
I live in MA and that is also where my skool is so if you guys know anything please help.
and no "you don't need a 17 MBP " crap trust me I do my friends have crashed comps equipped with Nvidia Quadro cards doing solidworks stuff and I also plan to be running Logic Studio 9 in this box too.

I needs 17 screen , I honestly could use the extra size also I want the ability to upgrade to 8 gigs of ram in the future I also want the bigger battery
I know where to get it dude and it will cost me $ 2,946. I don't plan to buy it with 8 gigs I plan ti upgrade the ram later when the machine starts to feel its age.
