Hey guys,

well august is approaching fast and I'll be back at WPI to continue persuing my education as a Robotic and Biomedical Engineer (double majoring).

over the summer I was unable to find job so I have pretty much no cash and I have been selling off guitar stuff for book money.

I am in need of a laptop badly, my ibook G4 1.33GHz isn't gonna work for me, It gave me trouble in CS cause it couldn't run eclipse frown

so I'm looking to get a grant to buy a Laptop for skool.
I'm looking to get a 17 inch macbook pro because I need a huge amount of GPU power for solidworks and CNC work that I'll be doing in my ME course first term

so does anyone here know anything about laptop grants?
I am having trouble figuring out these things
if worst comes to worsts I can take out a loan for the laptop but I much rather find a grant.

I live in MA and that is also where my skool is so if you guys know anything please help.

and no "you don't need a 17 MBP " crap trust me I do my friends have crashed comps equipped with Nvidia Quadro cards doing solidworks stuff and I also plan to be running Logic Studio 9 in this box too.

so if anyone here knows about laptop grants please help me out thanks
