Hey i was wondering all the different (and hopefully easy) ways there are of removing the white paint under the case of the ibook g3 i have some househeld chemicals but i cant go buy any, im broke and 14 . seeing as im modding it im open for suggestions! also the cd drive works BUT it doesnt eject and i have to pull it out (using force *shiver*) thank you for any help!

Ok Here is what you do.

I am sorry to say this will cost you a little money but will look awesome when your done.

Silver polish paste.

you heard me right silver polish

but you have to have a strong arm and some rags to do it with.

you place the silver polish on the white section you want to remove the paint from and just polish the everloving heck out of it pretty soon you will notice the plastic to start to get clear once finished clean the plastic component with some windex then take a little silver polish to polish the plastic you will notice that not only will the silver polish get rid of the white paint but it will shine the heck out of the plastic.

i have used this technique and it doesn't eat plastic like chemicals might i have even used this on a xbox mod called the xbox oddworld mod go to www. youtube.com and search johnodd4
