The built in Speech Recognition in leopard really sucks. I got it to calibrate and it still only listens when it wants too.
When I issue the command "Computer switch to stickies" it opens stickies but it take 5 to 6 times to close stickies when it issue "computer quit from stickies"
So far the best speech recognition software I have used was the built-in program in OS\2 warp4. It records a voice bite and you issue the bite to what ever you want and all you have to do is hold in a key and issue the command and it matches it to the sound bite and issues the command.
oh and a funny story...i used to use speech recognition in OS 8 with my PowerMac 8500 and Appletalk Microphone. Anyways, I would be enjoying myself messing around with that and someone would always come by and say computer shut down
