we based the new design on historical data which showed only a small portion (a negligle amount) were browing with 1024x768. No one with less than that, and almost everyone else with a higher to much higher resolution. I've just ordered myself a Dell mini-9 which has a 1024x764 display as well and I believe the iPhone displays pages as if it were 1024x768. That being said, we are aware of the problem...it was a conscious decision...but we are currently looking at fixing it and we've identified at least 125 pixels we can save in width. That might be enough to fix the odd wrap or skinny columns you may be seeing at that resolution.
