echebon Registered: 11/15/06 Posts: 45	Nvidia cards are very easy to flash, I've flashed several. I have never flashed a PCI card but I think steps are the same as an AGP card.

GuitarMknDude Registered: 06/13/04 Posts: 46 Loc: Near the Loop	themacelite.com has all the stuff you'll need. I seem remember that with standard PCI and core image could cause some crashing. I have done a few cards one agp 5500 a 6200 an a ATI X3 they where all pretty easy.

It will likely work, but another word about crashing- make sure you have the latest drivers, which would mean having the latest version of OS X... or at least 10.4.10, as the PCI drivers are different. Not having the latest drivers will likely cause a kernel panic.

dbculp Registered: 01/01/09 Posts: 17	I flashed an eVGA GeForce 5200 PCI/256 MB and have it running in a B&W with 10.4.11; QE and Core Image supported. I got a lot of help from themacelite forum, unfortunately that forum is currently unavailable, although you can still download modded ROMs from their Wiki.
