eBay really is your best bet for the Airport card. Sites like powerbookmedic and ifixit will be slow to reduce prices from their recent highs. They have come down a lot recently on eBay. I woudn't bother with a DVDR, I had one in a 333MHz PowerBook and it couldn't keep up with the drive. Buffer kept draining. Go for a Combo instead.
I found a keyboard for 45$ on AllMac with a 5.20$ RAM Shield New HD probly from NewEgg More RAM atleast 256MB from Ifixit 20$ all I need to do is scrounge up a Tiger install CD and or CD's (yes I know they are rare) I am enjoying this project.
[censored][censored] drive will work, so will most other brands if you use Patchburn. If you want native support then any Apple-branded drive will do. I think the ones in the white tray-load iBooks were Sony CRX series drives.
