This is a good review/how to of mirror finishing an anodized aluminum case, which from the before picture looks like the same aluminum that Apple is using. I'm thinking about iTablet-ing (yes, that's a verb) my 12" albook after I graduate next summer, and I think I'll probably use this polishing stuff for that extra coolness factor.

yeah, i'd just be worried about inadvertently doing something to the logic board or whatever and screwing up my computer, which I kinda need for school, its got my thesis and all that on it now. I have cracked it open before, to put in a bigger hard drive, but still.

I have heard of so many people who had their thesis on their laptop, then the laptop dies and their thesis was not even backed up...
Yeah, so far I don't have much on it yet, its not due until March, just proposal due this semester, and what I have is already backed up on the school's servers.
