My friend gave me a PowerBook 180 that he was going to throw out!! It works fine and has system 7.1. I have downloaded some old games and loaded them on with a floppy from my iBook G4.
I even have a purple track ball for it. It would be nice to get it online, I guess I could make my Linux computer a dial-up server and dial into onto the internet like that... Maybe when I have time. Oh by the way I need a definition of what free time is, I seem to have forgotten...

I have typed on those old powerbooks.. pretty decent keyboards.
My first mac ever was in 97 when I bought a slightly used powerbook 540c that had a PPC 603e 117mhz newertech upgrade and 40mb of ram. Pretty pimpin setup for the time. The 500 series were the first to have trackpads.
I think the green trackball looks better than the purple will IMO.

Yeah, it definitely does. It took me a bit to get a dvorak layout on it, I copied the key map from mac os 9 and copied it in with resedit. I really don't like track pads at all, I much prefer the finger mice (or whatever they are called) that the thinkpads and some of the older laptops have.
I had to have a senior picture for the yearbook. Since I am the biggest geek in the school I had to have a computer in the picture so I used this computer...
