Every time I boot up my powermac g3 desktop it comes up with error messages such as error 11. Ive tried reinstalling mac os9 but to no avail. Any ideas people

Try resetting the PRAM.  If that doesn't work, remove the battery from the board and unplug your Mac for a few minutes and try again.  If you still have issues, try booting from your OS 9 CD and manually selecting the startup drive. 

It sounds wacky, but it fixes a lot of common issues (especially error 11).

Replace your RAM, if that doesn't your board may be hosed. Could try replacing the HD but doesn't sound like the culprit here.

Also i get system map errors the computer was going before i opened it up so i have no idea what it could be
