Hi everyone. Great forum>
Can a Quicksilver motherboard work in a Sawtooth case?
I don't mind any mods, has anyone done this?
I have access to a nice quicksilver innards (mobo and processor)
and am willing to do surgury on my Sawtooth Version 1.
(which i can't even run a dual g4 450 on it)

I'm SURE this can be done!!!

I am not 100% certain on this, but IIRC those cases were the same size.  If that is so, you shouldn't have any issues with that conversion mod.  Let us know how it goes.

You'll need the PSU too.

Back will give you a bit of trouble as the QS has an extra PCI slot. Need some case cutting. I'm sure It can be done, just some work. War is right about the PSU, its proprietary, though google around and check xlr8yourmac.com to see if anyone has used an standard ATX power supply with it, you would loose the Apple Display Connector but thats no big deal if you don't own an older Apple LCD. May be cheaper way to go.

I think the QS uses a 28v lead but you can always build a inverter or use a 28v power adapter from a cordless phone or something.
