Hi, im having trouble removing the back panel of the digital audio powermac due to the kensington lock, any tips please? thanks, just dont wanna break it
hy.. yes thats thought to do.. i grinded the kensington lock a bit with a soft grind-paper so about 200
and you have to pull the back part away.. i mean you have to pull from left a bit and then from right,left,right...and so one.. and the hardest part is the 2nd back panel..where the ports are.. thats very hard, and its very easy to break it
so watch out!!!
if you have any further questions....so say it
Wookie

the first step is to pop all the plastic retainer tabs out of place, so that the back panel plastics are just hanging loose. then, place your thumbs against the locking tab, and wrap your fingers around the plastics. work it left and right, and you should be able to finesse the plastics off the lock tab without any damage. It make take some force, but if you're careful, you wont break anything.
