Ok, ill hold my hand up, never let your girlfriend loose with scissors when youre doing a mod.

I was modding a dead iBook G4 with a broken LCD into a headless media server when the good lady cut the cables linking the two, not realising that they contain the bluetooth and airport antennas for about half an hour at which point i began cursing...

My question is...is there any airport/bluetooth electronics in the screen or is it just a dumb cable antenna that i can just resolder a length of wire onto to (like a radio antenna) I can make out the strand of wire they were attached to so I might be able to hook something onto...

Any help appreciated!

It is just a "dumb" (but important..) cable.
