Really busy lately, but I got the cooler. Zalman was passed down to my x1600xt. WOWSER! Its even bigger than my Thermalright (which by the way tops out at 64C with no fan, loaded!). Anyway, here is a teaser pic of the heatsink...benchies to come.

Holy crap! Would you like some computer with that video card, sir?
Yeah, the cooler is huge. Running CCC temps maxed at 70C with a cheap Coolermaster 120mm fan. I was able to max the clocks in CCC too at 690/950. I am going to leave it at that though as folding does take a toll with cards being loaded 24/7. I will have to say that the AC S1 cooler is killer!
Okay, I got another x1900 series card on eBay and it needed a cooler. I removed the Coolermaster Viva Pro from an XT and put it on the new GT (the GT was only 75 bucks!). That left the x1950xt naked. Today I got in a CoolerMaster Aquagate Viva and installed it. Pretty cool looking rig. It is smaller than I expected too, so it could fit in a Mac. I cannot test it yet, as its scratch built home is not quite done yet, but it will be in the next week...I think. Here are some pics. One of the assembled card, one of the polished copper block and one of the card installed w/o the extra fan.
Fully tested now and running at 690/1900. These are at stock voltages. The cooler isnt noisy either. Its my power supply that kicks in when that card is sucking the juice! Max temps during testing was 56 C. Not bad. I have to get some better ramsinks too.
Hmmm, wonder where all of the pics went for this thread? Anyway, I though I would update on the x1900gt one last time. I removed my h2o cooled x1950xt to sell and put one of my Thermalright/Swiftech cooled GTs in until my hd3850 crossfire set gets here. With passive cooling only, I was able to take the clocks up to x1900xtx/x1900xt speeds. Its running 648/1440, the max in CCC. Yeah, it will go farther with AtiTool, but there is no need to break it as it goes back to a folding machine in a week.
