hy..

now most of you know that i ve got two modded macs..
now my G4..has got a GigaDesigns Dual 1.2Ghz which i had to downclock on 1Ghz..
It runs stable..but i am not 100%sure,,you know 100 is 100 and not 99,99999..
so i d like to install a very simple but very efficent way of cooling..

THE SLOT.FAN ..
i ve got already one..but the next will be a custom mod..

here s my little illustration..(done with Maya..it doesnt seems very good..i got better skills..but that scene was built in 5mins...but i think you can imagine what i want to show..

now i d like to install it where the zip was..

Not a bad idea but it won't change much. Invest in a better 120mm fan or think aboiut watercooling.

hy..thanx...

i even think its a very good idea...
i dont know why to change the 120mm fan..i had a CoolerMaster (who sucked) but now i have installed the old again...
maybe i will exchange also the 120mm fan...maybE
this slotfan moves 45CFM..thats a lot..and it will cool the processor and the Power.Supply...and then it leaves the case where the CPU is..

i hope that the fan will fit..cause i havent got a DVD:Drive i will mount it there.so i only can slide it out and turn it on whit a switch i think..and i am READY TO GO..

thank you

Wookie

You could get a 250CFM blower fan and thermaltake makes a 78cfm 120mm fan.
