It started with the period key, then the n, h, y and 6 key won't work on my laptop. They didn't all go out at once and no liquids have been spilled on it. Any ideas on how to fix?
Try creating a new user account and see if the keys still work in that account. If the keys work that means there is something wrong with your user account, if they keys still don't work the problem is either hardware, or system-wide. To test if it is hardware boot from the install disk that came with your computer. If the keys work there its your OS, if not then your keyboard might be failing. In order to get a box to type in on the install disk click the utilities menu and select terminal.
