The LCD on my G3 12" iBook has a visual defect on it that, while not affecting usability, is driving me insane. I'd love to replace it, does anyone have a spare in good condition that they are willing to sell me?
Instead of paying around 100-120 $ for an original airport card, buy an Orinoco Wavelan Silver card on ebay, strip it down to the essentials, remove internal antenas etc. and use that. Works perfectly! http://geektechnique.org and search for DIY airport
I happen to have that very card in his DIY guide - when he says it's a tight fit it is one hell of a tight fit though, the keyboard bends up by a good 2-3mm
