I just ordered a new macbook and saw the ibook mods that explain you can take the case apart and use alcohol to remove the white paint. Is this how the macbook plastic is too? I would like to paint my mac plastic but wanted to first check if this is even possible.
No, the MacBook is a solid, opaque, white plastic. Not all iBooks could do this, i beleive it was only up to the 700MHz G3 iBooks. You can however, use RIT dye, and dye the plastic the way you want it.
