Finally, I fixed this stupid problem. It is related to my 2 PC100 and 2 PC133 SDRAM memory.

I got 2 new PC133, so all 4 are PC133. And the wake up issue is gone.

Long life, Mac OS X.

wow well you figured it out pretty fast i would say.  I hate it when its something simple like that.  I would have probably exhausted every other idea before I thought of that one!

Well, somehow, there is another tricky one.

The DVI-to-DVI with ViewSonic 22" does not work.
Either VGA-to-VGA or VGA to a DVI adaptor to ViewSonic VGA port work.

Something could be wrong on TMDS, don't know what it means though.

If your using a strangdogs rom , Dvi does not work. There is a hack to enable it but it has limitations. It also will not boot in dvi mode from cold start using the hack.

I just got my XFX Geforce 5200 256 meg video card to working in my G4 MDD mac using the DVI output and It works great. I had to get the flash from the cubeowners forum and use hexedit to adjust the core and memory speed to match the original pc flash setting and I was good to go. I believe the flash is a modded FX 5200 Ultra flash that has been reduced from 128k to 64k to work on the pc cards. good luck with it.

Hey: a note to all of you requesting ROMS:

I've been getting a number of emails regarding people wanting Mac GeForce roms from me. I'm sorry but I cannot distribute such
roms any more, so please stop this ASAP? I helped a number of people but with any more sending out I could get into trouble legally.

Alright?
