I have a 900mhz G3 Opaque iBook, and will be getting a 500mhz icebook soon. (I hope.) What I would like to know is, can I swap the cases? Both are 12.1" I would really like to paint the icebook case and put it on my 900mhz.
You could probably pull it off, BUT, there are companies that sell iBook case covers that you can paint. That way, you could keep the case stock and therefore its resale value. I cant recall who makes em, but I will look around.
Ah, but you see. I don't want to buy anything else. I bought an icebook on ebay, I'm still waiting for it to get here. (He hasn't shipped it yet. If its not shipped soon, I'm asking for a refund.) Anyways. I'm not really looking at resale value, considering I'm going to keep this ibook for a long time, but find that company anyways. Sounds interesting.
