My iBook logicboard has died so I striped it down and saling all of the parts but the logicboard.

I have an iBook G3 I recenly got from a friend, it works great expect for one thing, the frame is cracked. Inside the LCD half of the iBook there is a metal frame that goes all the way around the LCD half. How much would that sell for?

Forget what I said about it going all the way around the screen, there is a thicker metal piece near the hinge that has cracked. These picutures will help.

That peice goes all the way around. Thing is I would have to sell you the whole LCD unit because it's what is holding the LCD together. I would sell it to ya for 50 bucks plus shipping.
It goes 3 quarters of the way around. Apple send replacement ones with LCD panels, so you might find your local repair centre has a couple knocking about. They should be cheap too.
