Ok, so it had to be asked!
We can't just slap a Core 2 Duo into our original MacBook Pros like you can with a Mini since the processor is soldered to the logic board. But is it flat-out impossible?

Just speculation but as long as the chips are pin and voltage compatible a place like Daystar could prob pull it off.

Daystar could probably do it, but I don't know where you would get the cpu. I don't think you could just buy one.
