Sadly I'm running out of room already on my 500GB Lacie Big Disk. I wanted to upgrade it to 1TB (woo baby!), but I wasn't sure how to take it apart. Does anyone know how to take it apart? I would rather look for the instructions before actually taking a knife to it.
Shouldn;t be more than a couple of screws. I believe they are under the 'foot' on these. Or at the back. One or the other. Been a while since I took one apart though. And probably the only one I ever took apart. It wasn't ahrd and I didn;t have instructions. Go for it!!!
Thanks Waragainstsleep. I think I've figured it out. The screws were on the back, not the bottom. After I took them out, I just pulled off the outer casing and the hardrives were located under a metal shielding thing. Well all that's left to do now is wait for the new harddrives to arrive.
