Can someone tell me if it's possible to make a UMPC out of a Mac mini, what battery to use, how to get the screen in etc?

That's basically what I'm looking for but I want a cross between both with a battery from a laptop. Also, can I put a Merom (Core 2) chip to replace the old Yonah (Core Solo/Duo) one inside for more power?

as far as batteries go, I would probably choose something like this external laptop batt.  A lot more versatile, and you may be able to find somthing with the right voltage... and the charger is built in.

Now who sells Merom Core 2 chips? I know companies sell Conroe Core 2s and Yonah Core Solo/Duos but not Meroms.

Ebay sells a lot of 7 to 14 inch touch screen LCDs. They're made for cars but they work just as well for diffrent applications.

Does OS X have built in drivers for these touch screens? I have never used one with a Mac.
