The last few weeks of my life have been some of the hardest I have ever had to endure. Whats a modder to do? My plan was to build a maple L shaped work desk. As we roamed the isles looking for aluminum hardware I saw an old friend. Next to him was a phat ass work desk! Wheels started spinnin and I have begun the project that would do any Mac lover/modder proud. I have assembled most of the desk and its beautiful. Next I will add some maple accents and the begin the maple topped/chromed legged second part of the L desk. Here is a shot of the desk and I will hopefully getting into it this weekend. Stay tuned for more pics!

Small update. All of my stuff is set up. I picked up a Monster Power surge protector and some velcro cable ties. I have the design ready for the maple L section done and priced up the wood. Hopefully I can get r done by next weekend.
While were showing off desks.... Here's mine, total cost of $25, which is perfect for the college student. And while I'm at it, check out the lamp I made from the demolished fork to the bike that I crashed last year. The second picture shows the corner merging in with my dresser. And I have a keyboard tray at the house I lived in last year, I just have to go get it.
