I have an old Mac titanium with a 15" Lcd monitor and i would like to detach the montior (the hinges are completly cashed) and use it as a stand alone. I am seeking schematics as to what the pinout would be to hook up a db9 connector and what the voltage is. In other words what wires go where in the harness.
Better yet I was wondering if I could convert the video pinout to s-video.
it boils down to needing the right power inverter for the light, the controller board for the lcd signal, and finding out what pins do what([robably the most difficult since the information is scarce to comeby.) It will end up costing too much money and time for what the LCD is worth. I would spend that money on a good display.
