The first is a Lian-Li V2000B
Second a TJ07

Both running sawtooth mobos w/ different hardware

I'm debating about putting together another g4 system w/ the eventual intel switch.

I hope to rebuild the silverstone soon

Very nice. Looks like some spendy cases and hardware you got there. Is that cpu stock? You should have held onto those pics for the mod challenge.

I'm liking some of the internal concepts you're putting in there. Any idea what you want to do with the case proper?

^ hmmm, dunno. I considered painting the case, sparkling the case, doing some blue flames or comets, but the case is just so pretty by itself I can't see myself modding the metal. I like the idea of doing a 007 theme since it's a PVR (the TJ07).

here's some updated pics of the v2000 ...

comment: the drawers are from cyberguys.com, the switches are from radioshack, one for power, one for the ccfls. Once you use LED fans and uv stuff for a while it all gets old after a while. Now I'm back to regular dual ball bering fans with rpm monitoring 3pin. The fanbus is from sunbeamtech.

comment: test fitting the psu's. they are tt w0070's great deal on newegg. needed another ATX cheapo 300W psu for the HDDs I'll be adding.

comment: mmmmm, 600 W continuous power. 18 individual 4 pin molex connectors. sleeved nicely. the extra psu was needed since the v2000 can hold 12 hdd in the lower bay area. by the end of the month I'll have at least 8 hdd running in the case.

comment: did some minor modding to the psus, made one a at, changed the gold fan guards to silver color and debadged the fans.

comment: running a nec ND-3550A flashed to 1.06, sawtooth mobo, giga designs 1.8 ghz 7447a, firmtek 64bit 4port sata, 1.25 GB ram with active cooling, some adda fans, custom recessed hdd intake fan, 4 wd2500ks in raid 0 now, soon to be raid 5 perhaps. sorry for the offending green sata cable. i know

comment: finding a bracket for the v2000 for dual psus is like trying to find a picture of suri cruise. lian-li sez they exist but no one seems to sell them. have to digg some more.

were you wondering placing SATA cables and mobo power cable behind the mobo tray for better appearance?

^ yes, def. b/c the power connector will fudge with the cpu fans and the rocketraid 2220. directron sells a 10 inch ATX extender cable which is necessary for this type of thing. I am thinking about buying a few of them.

the problem is I need to see if they support -5v (the white cable).

need to call directron (sp?) and make sure. the -5v is actually gnd on the sawtooth but i've had problems with psus that don't have wiring in that position.
