anyone know where its possible to get a clear side panel for a G5? macskinz.com doesn't sell them anymore. any help would b greatly appreciated thanks a lot
talk to any local independent service providers or indy mac shops. Chances are that they have half a dozen of the dumb things lying aroundin their service dept. If not, they might be willing to order you one

thanks but just to clairify i am looking for a claer outer side panel which comes as aluminum. i hoping i wont have to build one lol to much work but i might have too :-)

As far as anyone making replacement doors, I've not seen them, cept for the ones that macskinz used to have. The easiest thing may actually be to make one out of plexi or polycarbonate. The trick there would be to call around to local plastics dealers (in the DC/MD/VA area, its Reed Plastics) and see if they have something in the right thickness. Any good plastics shop will also cut it to size for you
