How can i permanently overclock the GPU in my iBook so that its new frequencies will be permanently burned into the ROM. I've used ATI accelerater to increase the frequencies but then unistalled it while the frequencies where changed. when i restarted the computer the frequencies reverted back to the original ones. I want to permanently overclock the GPU in My iBook G4 1.33GHZ. much help appreciated.

Hmm my advice is, if you don't even know how to access open firmware, then don't mess with it... You can really screw things up in there...
The old graphiccelerator, could (as far as i recal) save the changes on the rom of the graphics card. But the author says it doesn't work on computers with embedded graphics cards. So my guess is it would probably be very hard to do, if at all possible through open firmware...
