Well, I uninstalled just to be safe rather than have the possibility of being sorry... Again... And so far, I've had no problems doing routine stuff: checking email, MacMod, typing cruddy assignments up... And Front Row still works using the discontinued enabler and last update package.

Should I uninstall Front Row for the update? The last update I tried without uninstalling required an OS reinstall, but that problem may be gone now.
You too? I had that happen a few updates ago. Anyway, if you have any advice on what to do to prevent Bad Things from happening (such as how to uninstall Front Row), I would be happy to hear it.
To uninstall Front Row, go into System/Library/CoreServices and trash the Front Row application. You wouldn't think it would be that simple, but it is. When I updated and restarted, my PowerBook went through the grey Apple thingy, then restarted again, started OS X, let me log in, and I've had no problems since.
