Terror Registered: 01/20/06 Posts: 30	when i was takeing the hard drive out of the G3 there was a third cable attached to the top, what is it and how does it disconnect?

Waragainstsleep Registered: 02/13/05 Posts: 1723	I know what you mean, and I belive its a SCSI terminator. If your new drive is ATA, you don't need terminators. You may need another cable as the SCSI one is different (50pin, ATA is 40). If you have a new SCSI drive and there is nowhere to connect the terminator, it may well have one built in.
