I have a B&W motherboard that I want to put in a beige g3 case. Are the power supply's for these two machines the same or do I need to make some changes?
No, they are not the same. The Beige G3s ps is a atx power supply. You need to snip one wire on it. I cannot remember which right now, but you can google up "atx ps in B/W G3".
Beige is straight ATX. B&W usually requires snipping a white wire. Not sure the Beige PSU follows the ATX colour conventions though, so check your pins.

Wouldnt you just be better to use another ATX PSU, with more wattage that a 200w psu??
Yea that is probably the route that I will take in the end. I mainly wanted to test the board to make sure everything is working. Another question along the same lines, when I change a zif processor do I need to change the jumpers to make it register as the new speed? I have just been playing with beige g3's all night.
