this day i get a flashed sapphire tech 9800 pro card with a zallman cooler. I will look wat i can do with the overclocking and so one. I had seen some reviews that it is possible to set the core on 500 mhz :omg: and the memory on 360 :omg: wihout artifact. If thats possible! well then i have a KILLER video card for my mac
The xt version of the 9800 card is better in more ways than clock speed. If I remember correctly it uses a better gpu. Anyway, please post your maximum clock numbers for gpu/memory for reference.

hi, well the maximum GPU clock i can get is 520 mhz without artifacts, wile the memory runs at 360 at its maximum. I'am now working at the cooling in my case, its pretty hot in there. Iam thinking to replace the speaker with a vent behind it and maybe i put a pci slot cooler in my case. I need to get the hot air out of that thing. :embarassed:
I purchased a 9800 Pro pc card which has the 36O gpu core (xt model). It was flashed to run in a PowerMac. I added the Zalman Fatal1ty Fansink and memory sinks. I can get the gpu to run high, but the memory will not go 10% without artifacts. This is running in a PowerMac G5 and is being replaced this week, lol. I cant count how many cards have been in there on one hand! Anyway, it is going in a G4 mod I am working on. It will then be watercooled and I will see what I can get it to run at.
By the way, on the limited number of games I play, it runs great, but its no x800.
that sounds great, keep me in touch with your G4 modding.
Do you have any great tip or ideas for cooling my DP 500 Gigabyte G4  its getting pretty hot, i already change the main 120 mm vent with a much quieter en powerfull vent.
If you want to keep the case in stock form, add a pci slot fan. Getting air out of a case is most important. You can add some exhaust fans holes to the top of the case, two 80mm would be very beneficial.
