I'm gonna take the motherboard out of a Powermac G3 B&W abd put in a g4 board and daughter card. anything i should know about befor doing this. I asked you guys earlier if the g3 PS would work and it was said to work, any help would be appreciated.

I did this to my smurf. The board fits fine, same mounting holes and everything. You will need either the rear bezel from a g4 or or you'll have to make your own. Not a big deal. The only thing to watch out for is the front power board which is very different on the g3 vrs g4. Several others on these forums have done this mod too and can offer better advice than I can on adapting that front panel board. Its a nice mod. I love my my B&W. Have fun!
Depends what kind of G4 it is. A small PSU mod will likely be required. Though if you have a G4 Yikes (PCI graphics), its the same board, so you may as well just swap the CPU.
