taekat Registered: 10/26/05 Posts: 2	I'm looking into the option of adding an external SATA port to my iMac G5 2.1ghz. Just wondeirng if it's even possible. IS there a Y-adapter that I can use?

maestro Registered: 11/15/07 Posts: 1656	Quick answer, no. Sata is one channel only. You do have firewire in which you could build a raid 0 set. That would give you better speed than one channel of sata. -maestro
