that site reminds me of a conversation i had with a friends younger brother on why he thinks PCs are better. His entire angle was this, "If i need a program i can go on the internet search for it and i have 50 billion choices. alot of them might be crap but i have the option."

"they (Macs) might be better, but less options non the less. (refering to software and hardware) like, a BMW is a REALLY REALLY nice car, you know its always gonna work. but i am driving to work and back. i want the option to buy a saturn. because they (Saturn) give you OPTIONS to make it as nice as you like. you can make a REALLY REALLY NICE pc. but you can ONLY buy a nice mac."

he also went on to ask how much i would spend on my next mac. jsut recently purchasing a Spanking new G5 QUAD with 4 gigs of RAM and a Terabyte of hard drive space, about $4600.00. i told him this number with out telling him what i had. his reply.

"i can make a FREAKIN awesome PC for 4600, i mean AWESOME"

i would say while i can't run most spyware, malware, and Quake 4, i DO have a FREAKIN awesome Mac. If a pc is a Saturn, a Mac is a BMW, the QUAD must be an F1 Indy car. I Don't need my computer to be an emulator. if i want to play games, that's what i have an XBOX and PS2 console for. But that's okay. He can spend 4600 bucks on a decked out "Saturn" it will still be a saturn under the dent-resistant body panels.

The guy who made this anti-apple site, must be from Utah. Utahns are mostly white in population, and are afraid of things they don't understand. If they don't understand something, they just hate it till it goes away. They've been trying unsuccessfuly to get me to budge for 13 years.

Hmm. Creative, kinda. I think these guys must be jealous that they are stuck using the Ford of personal computers. There is no PC in the world that can compete with the Quad's hardware, none. Also, windoze is crap, not because I like Macs, just because it is.

I did find my self laughing a little at what was on that website. But if you are going to bash something, you should aleast TRY not to be so stupid about it. i guess that's beavis&butt-head-iean humor comes from.

ha this is like the conversaation i had with my dad yesterday about his pc (from 01? maybe 00) being trash and he should get a mac mini. he was using my ibook andd says he hates it (its worht noting that he was using the ibook only beacuse the pc was having bad slowdown problems and had to be restarted nummerous times while i tried to fix it.) so i said to him:

if you buy a car, and every so often the little things dont work, would u keep the car? if the ac didnt come on or the wipers needed to be replaced all the time or u had to keep fillign the tires or the battery would die, would u keep the car? if little lights come up all the time on the dash that tell you it has a problem, but u dont know y or how to fix it, would u keep the car? if u had to baby it, make sure you didnt push it too hard for fear it would stall out and youd have to restart it, would u keep the car? and if u had to buy a new car, would u buy the newer version of the one you had, just with a new coat of paint and a little bigger engine, or would u switch car companies?

he didnt have much of a response.

Heres my veiws on PCs and Macs. I know you all have them but hear me out.

PC + Windows = paper weight

Mac + pre OS X = paper weight

PC + Linux, Unix, BSD, QNX, OpenServer and OpenDOS = nice system

Mac + OS X 10.2 and higher = hey something works.

I agree with the anti-apple people out there on some things like OS X 10.1 and OS 9 is useless crap that hangs alot and doesn't run any good programs but since Apple has switched to a more used OS base that is pretty much Open Source that gives all of us a wider range of software to pick from and also makes it easyer to customize to our needs.

Windows is a yucky blotted OS that seems to get worse on every release but yet theres a OS that has been out since the late 70s that has over millions of proframs and way to run and keeps getting better and more stable after the next. All I can say is Microsoft should switch back the Xenix instead of lending the kernel to SCO to use on OpenServer. Heck MS are afraid of their own OS that they use Coral Linux in their offices. In a way it kinda makes me sick that Apple is making people buy software that is under the GPL act. Yes the WindowManager and the kernel. The rest that makes it happen besides being a empty OS it uses tons and tons of software from GNU and other OpenSource programs. Yet on the other hand with Microsoft they cram their crappy programs down other people and not let any 3rd party devlopers have a chance for their software to become bundled with a OS other then Linux or BSD. Every where on windows has the windows logo or microsoft labed.

This doesn't make me anti apple or anti microsoft this makes me a Linux user. I hate paying over priced hardware from apple (thats why I get preown apple hardware) and I hate fighting windows so I use Linux on all of my PCs. Yes I use Mac OS X but I also dual boot Linux and mostly use Linux on my macs and I basicly tinker with OS X. Thats really the whole point why I bought a mac was to get to knowing OS X. Pretty much a eye candy version of BSD lol. Also i'm bored with modding PCs because i've done all sorts of mods to them and I wanted to try modding a few macs because a lot of people don't mod them because of the worryness of voiding the warranty.

Over time I have devolped my own Linux distro that works on a few of my PCs and slowly I have been trying to port it for PPC. Mostly for a older tray-load iMac but that has came to a complete halt for being over zellous on tinkering with the hardware by adding DVD that killed my chance of booting from CD unless I hooked back up the old CD-ROM drive that only worked when it wanted too and from Overclocking it. Now im planning to start all over and port it to my iBook or B&W.

Well enough of my ranting.

Now that I’ve actually seen the site, I find it extremely childish. If the majority of your humor consists of well placed profanity, then your level of intelligence is probably on par with an 8th grader. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this was designed by some pompous idiot in 3rd period computer class who thinks he's just teh 1337.
