Hey guys,
Did you know that you can make DVD images? I know this, because I just made one. It's for this DVD sampler of a few music videos by the rock band called Rush. I also discovered that DVD Player will accept the image and begin playing. I wonder if it will work on my 350, without a DVD-ROM...
aww our little maclover is growing up so quickly :woohoo: it's a nice little trick aint it. i use it for those games that ask for the pesky cd/dvd... about 90% of the time if i make and image of the cd/dvd it tricks it to thinking it's phisically in the drive. doesn't work with Unreal 2003 though

It doesn't work with Jedi Academy either. The disc has some kind of anit-piracy protection that won't let you make a read-only disc image. You can make a master, but all that does for you is enable you to burn copies of the disk. The same is true for the Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos CD, but not so for the Frozen Throne CD... Strange, but true. Does anyone know a way around this? (I'm sure it's true for some DVD movies and games as well.)

You cant use disk image to make copies of commercial files. Duh. Sometimes it will let you image, but not let you burn it. If that is what you really want to do, google. There are ways of copying everything and all securities can be broken. -maestro
