Well I bought a D-Link wireless router. Works great and everything. I also have WEP enabled for just in case lol. Anyway, I tryed out this program called MacStumbler and it locates Wi-Fi sigs. Well come to find out some one right down the street has wireless doesn't have WEP or WPA enabled and getting 63% of a sig from it. Thing is will my router interfear with his connection?
Just make sure you're not both using the same channel. There are 11 possible channels on WiFi, listed by number in macstumbler. configure your router to a number as far away from his as possible
