Brasso is for the metal part, not the plastic, that may melt it. The powerbooks are painted, so you would need touch up paint. Not sure about the new ones though. -maestro
Are you sure they're painted? It looks more like texturized aluminum... I have a fatty rub mark on the bottom, and it doesn't look like a patch of missing paint: it looks like a spot where the aluminum got detexturized.
