Not to rain on the parade but I very much doubt that it will work. The iBook Clamshell uses a totally different LCD panel and video chip than the later dual usb models. Keepin mind that the LCD tends to be the single most valuable part on an older laptop, if you have a working clamshell lcd you should be able to pick up the rest of the book on ebay for a song so to speak. As far as the iBook 600 goes they are pretty cheap now too so you maybe able to score its LCD for around $125 - $150 US.
