okay, my dock's been acting funny lately i keep it on the left side of the screen, hidden and it doesn't show up when i move my mouse over it only shows up if i go into System Preferences and move around the Size bar also it's only visible now if i deactivate the auto-hide feature its suuuuuper frusterating! anyone else experience this? im running 10.4.2
Hmm have you installed front row? Mine did excatly the same, a reboot solved the problem though... I suspect the front row install to be the problem (in my case anyway)

yes, yes i did! my Finder doesnt work the same, either instead of clicking once and going through menus i must hold down the mouse button to even navigate it im going to uninstall, reboot, and see what happens ill post again if anything changes
still problems with dock, still problems with Finder Front Row was completely removed........ i tried to restart and my desktop items and Dock disappeared like normal.... but nothing happened, i had to hold the power button down
Is this the iBook G4 that is having problems? My friend's completely crashed, and he had to send it to Cupertino for repair. It started out, however, with problems such as these. He had no alterations to the system software installed whatsoever. He's not as advventuresome as I when it comes to that.
