Yea, a cpu from a b/w works fine in a beige g3. And the 350 chip should easily be able to go to 375. I clocked my old 350 b/w to 400 mhz without problems...

Higher bus speeds are doable, but you may lose stabilty. Make sure you have faster ram in it too. I am planning to try this also. It will help if you cool the system chip. -maestro
Get a rev. 2 B/W g3 heatsink and put a small fan on it, that will fit. Yes, if it is installed incorrectly it could cook you cpu. As for the system controller, find a small heatsink and attach it with some heatsink tape or heatsink glue. -maestro
