The site is a catalog of old Pre OS X abandonware games. Things like prince of persia, spectire, monkey island, darkseed, etc. All the games many of us grew up with. Since they're abandonware, you can just download them, and play them. I'm in heaven.
I just downloaded NetTrek to my color classic. Oh yeah. hell yeah. I need to get THIS together for a lan party.
oh, and while surfing while posting, I just found A-10 Attack, A-10 Cuba, and Hellcats over the Pacific! WOOOOOO!

In 1995 when I got my hot-off-the-production-line PowerMac 8500+1705 Display+Gravis Joystick, A-10 cuba was the first game that I played. I can't wait to get home today and try it out again.
Man, I took ten minutes and loaded it up here at work. It was like christmas morning, all over again.
Course, I need to break out the color classic in order to play me some Hellcats over the Pacific.
I'm hoping monkey island will run in classic though. Cause I'm gonna have to take it to the mat against LeChuck tonight. Aint no pirate quite like Guybrush Threepwood. yeyah.

Hey, can anybody else think of any more abandonware sites? I admit. I am an abandonware junkie. I have lots of games I have downloaded from this site, and they all work on my iMac in Mac OS 9. To name some games I have downloaded: Out of this World (from the makers of Flashback) Mac Worms (combat game) Spin Doctor and more.
So, I just loaded up A-10 Cuba on my G4. Running in classic through 10.4. I scaled the depth down to 256 colors on all three displays, and loaded up Cuba. Just like promised in the manual in 1995, all my screens loaded up correctly, and I had almost 180 degrees viewable. Good God. I would have been blown away ten years ago. Playing it now, its a little dated, but jebus, it's still just as much fun. Especially since I can run it with all the stuff turned on, and in big bold beautiful wide angle mode. I only had to wait ten years
