It seems I can't win on the iMac. I just got a new logicboard for it and guess what. The monitor died. I have a extra xbox a friend gave me that doesn't work so i'm going to strip it down and cram my iMac into it. The power supply that went to the xbox still works. I tested it on my working xbox. Since the v4 and higher xboxes use some what of a ATX power supply I think i'll modify it for the iMac. I need to dig up the specs on the wattage that iMac uses on the logicboard. The xbox powersupply I think is only 65 to 68watts. I know this will work because i've seen people do this with ITX based systems and I've also done this mod once before but with a old Dell laptop. I used the power supply from the laptop so this will be my frist mod for the xbox power supply. Wish me luck on this lol.
I was going to do the exact same thing. Oh well, great minds think alikeB). Tell us how it goes as I would like to know if there are any major issues. Good luck!

That would be cool. The only problems would be I'm still finishing up "The Mac Orb" and I don't have any parts yet for this mod . Oh well, I'll try and PM you when I get the parts.

It just hit me. Anyone can do this mod with out owning a xbox. Just need a buy a 3rd party xbox case from some xbox modding site and use a micro ATX style 200watt power supply.
