Many other computer manufacturers build card readers into their laptops, but Apple laptops are noticeably lacking in this area. The 15" and 17" powerbooks have pcmcia card slots, but there is not a similar option for 12" powerbook users. Would it be possible, considering the amount of space available in the 12" powerbook(which I'm sure is little to none) to add a usb powered SD card slot to either the left or right side? It would not necessarily need to be able to hold an entire card inside of the case, maybe only the metal contact points of a card. Something like this would give me one less thing to carry around with my laptop, an get rid of an unsightly usb SD card reader dongle. It could also free up a usb port on my laptop.
